Glasson Legacy Fund was founded in 2008 on the premise of instilling positive values in young people and understanding what it means to leave a biblical legacy. Legacy focuses on what will endure. It is about passing on things of lasting value to those who will live on after us. Legacy involves living intentionally and aiming to build into the next generations for their biblical success. Proverbs 13:22 says a good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children. For us, this inheritance is to teach our generations what it means to have a relationship with Christ and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities. The fund is focused on finding charitable endeavors where we can impact people and to follow God’s path in making a positive impact for God's Glory. Our mission is to impact kids and share the gospel.
To date, by God's blessings, the fund has given back $538,628
to 64 charities in 45 cities and 17 states
The purpose of our partnership with Neverthirst is to provide clean water for people in remote areas while creating a platform for the local church to share the gospel. We just completed the second project in Cambodia where the single hand pumps provide clean water to approximately 55 families in the Village of Sra'aem and the Village of Bos Kor . Our goal is to continue to invest in these remote villages more in order to reach more people with clean water and more importantly the Gospel. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:6-10
HIS Winter Park Home , which we have been blessed to steward, is used to raise money for charity at live auction events as well as private rentals for quality time in God's beautiful creation. Since 2020, the home has raised $134,345 for charity auctions.
We have been married 30 years and have a passion to help charities that impact kids and spread the gospel. We reside in Rockwall, Texas and our family has been blessed with three married children, Courtney (&Donald), Alexa (&Julian) and Cole (&Ellie) as well as four grandsons (and a granddaughter and grandson on the way) Eli, Cooper, Dutton and Carter. We would be honored for anyone interested in partnering with our fund to make a bigger financial impact on the charities we serve.
